「First of all, I would like to thank the lady working at the reception on New Year’s Eve for her friendly and wonderful welcome. As for the hotel, it was one of the most unhealthy nights of sleep I’ve ever had. I am aware that the hotel is ibis Budget, meaning a low-budget hotel. But what they consider a pillow in the room cannot possibly be a pillow! It’s a rag that threatens human health! The bed is the same. I’m not talking about luxury or even comfort!! I’m talking about the most basic items...

「Sauberes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück gegen Aufpreis. Das Hotel ist grundrenoviert worden, liegt fußläufig zur Altstadt von Reims und ist auch mit dem Auto sehr gut von der Autobahn erreichbar. Parken in der Tiefgarage für 20 Euro ist OK. Einziger Punkt der uns nicht gefallen hat waren die Matratzenschoner aus Plastik, mit denen man nachts stark schwitzt. Ansonsten ein schöner Aufenthalt. 」

「We stayed in a family room on a Saturday night so we parked quite conveniently in a side street a few minutes walk away. The location is excellent right on the main street so really handy for bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel is very basic and the decor is very tired but it was perfectly adequate for one night stopover on the way back from the Alps」
