Room was clean although the comforters could have been cleaner. Easy and friendly check in. Remodeling is in progress and that’s a plus in my book! Hot tub, coffee and omelets were cold so those need some attention. Overall stay was good and I would return.

The room was clean…beds were comfortable. Both restrooms at pool area were FULL of poop and had not been cleaned in days!!! You couldn’t flush them! We didn’t dare use the pool or hot tub not knowing what condition they might be in!

Staff was friendly and willing to help. Property itself was rundown. I had ground floor room (110) that had cracked window, inoperable door lock, bathroom light didn’t work. The odors in hall and room were foul. I could detect the scent of cleaning agents though. The cleaning staff did their job, room was clean but there is so much wear and tear on this property that no amount of cleaning will help. It needs a major renovation.

Great pool area!

I have stayed here several times before while in Red Wing visiting family. My rooms have always been very clean and quiet, even when on the side facing the train tracks. In-room frig and microwave have always been cold and clean. My only complaint is the distance from the lobby/breakfast area to the wing of rooms, but that is a minor inconvenience. There is close parking to the rooms. Pool area is very nice with a convenient set of bathrooms and shower. Breakfast is basic and on busy weekends is sometimes slow to be refilled. I have stayed at several other hotels in town, but this is my hotel of choice.

The front desk person was super friendly. They were the only one working on a day when they were sold due to a local event. The beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the room was smelly. It seems the smell was in the sheets and towels. There was no hair dryer. The bath towel was really small. The floors seemed grimy. The smell of the room was in my clothes after leaving. It was overpriced for the quality- but I assume there was an upcharge due to demand.

Staff was nice. Basic room, a little outdated. Not the cleanest. No pool towels at all, I used the one from my room. Pool had black spots on bottom of pool. Did not use, but used hottub, although only appeared to work only half of the tub. Good price of room, but any more would not be worth value. Nice bed and pillows.
