"I stayed here before a 4day backpacking trip and the night we got off trail. Excellent spot. Had laundry and delightful room and hot shower. Lodge vibe, hiker friendly. They even had a hiker box I could donate left over meals and fuel."
"The romantic suite was quaint and well suited for 2. However, we found that it was quite tight for 3 adults, especially when the sofa bed was fully extended.
What we love most was that the to-go breakfast items were all delivered in our refrigerator the night before, allowing us to take that with us for the hike at 4:30am the next morning.
We also love the trout pond behind the property.
Location of the property --> Short drive to the Paradise entrance."
"We stayed over the Labor Day Holiday weekend, so maybe that affected the price; but this was a fairly expensive hotel and yet felt more like a small-town, budget-price facility. The grounds and room were fine, just not the level one might expect for the pricey tag. Our only specific complaint was that the walls and ceiling were so sound-transparent that we could hear conversations going on at the Front Desk; and the footsteps from the floor above were so loud that I occasionally feared the person above might break through and join us in our room! I could hear them packing early in the morning - opening the fridge door, hangers clanging on the closet rack, microwave door closing -- all without my hearing aids in!"
"Nice place to spend the night before going camping at Mt Ranier which is about 40 minutes away? The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water. They also had decent WiFi! There is also a pretty good Mexican restaurant right across the parking lot. Plus a grocery store is really close too. I would highly recommend this place!"
"We arrived around 10 pm so office was closed. But they left room key and info in an envelope for us. Cute but small little room. But we literally were there just to sleep as we were gone by 5:45 am"
"Budget-friendly lodging in a gateway town to Mount Rainier National Park. Easy parking and easy access from the highway. All required amenities were available in the room."
"This was the only room available on Labor Day so we took it! had a rough start because nobody was there to let me in/answer the 24 hour phone number, but, sounds like it is not a regular occurrence and the staff was actually really nice. I got the family studio suite and while we weren’t a full family (just us two), it seemed like something could fit four. It was spacious with a dining table and all of the kitchen equipment.
The room was definitely a bit dated, but it was clean and the beds were decent. The shower was nice and hot!
I wouldn’t call it fancy , but it did the job!"
