"We loved our stay at Distrito 88! Beautiful, clean rooms, gorgeous view delicious breakfast, and Lalo was an amazing concierge. Quick easy, walk to town and nice cold air-conditioning when we returned. We will stay again for sure.!"

The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, social, and chilled out—it’s so easy to meet people, but it never feels like an overwhelming party hostel. The spaces are clean, beautifully detailed, and have such a great jungle-meets-beach vibe. The staff goes above and beyond to give the best local recommendations. Clean comfy beds, great AC, and an amazing community feel. I was only supposed to stay a couple of days and ended up extending. Can’t wait to come back!""

"HI all in all the place is good but different from my last stay. There were a few issues. Initially I was placed in a noisy room but the room change was accommodated the next day. . The TV in the second room did not work and I could not get streaming. Thankfully I had a computer. The restaurant area was great, they were pleasant and the breakfast was good, albeit with a minimal menu. The pool area was lovely. Unfortunately the front office staff was aggressive and told me that my daughter and her husband could not visit me in my room, and were not welcome at the pool area. One of the reasons I chose this hotel is the proximity to where thay live. This made for a very uncomfortable situation. I get that in high season with a busy pool area that they should not be at the pool area, however we were the only ones there. It is a lovely place and this experience was significantly jaded by the front office staff."
