"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel was nice, the breakfast was tasty, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that our room was located above the pub. When we opened the window, we could smell cigarette smoke, which was unpleasant. Apart from that, we had a pleasant stay and would be happy to recommend the hotel."

"Ich buche hier immer, wenn ich beruflich in der Nähe zu tun habe. Hier passt einfach alles für mich - ob ein Zimmer im Haupthaus, oder im Bungalow. Schön versteckt gelegenes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Super netter Service, ein Restaurant mit sehr guter Auswahl und Qualität - Frühstück lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Immer wieder gerne ;-)"

"It was a nice hotel with smiling and helpful staff. There was very small refrigerator in room but it is very slow about its job. Otherwise everything in room was good and clean including bed comfort. Breakfast was fairly good but could have more options or hot additions. I would recommend this hotel"

"Nice "

"Very friendly and nice place"

"A good stay near dresden. The staff were not very friendly. My room was set up for one person although I booked a 2 person bedroom"

"We loved it here! The family running this landhotel was very helpful and friendly. Located outside of Bautzen, it's a great place to be away from tourists and enjoy contact with real people. The hosts spoke some English, but everyone else we encountered generally just spoke German. It's a very relaxing location, and you'll definitely feel away from the hustle of being in a tourist site. Breakfast was very good, and the dinner we had one night was amazing. We'd love to go back here again!"

"Clean rooms, excellent breakfast."

"Nice place to stay in Bautzen. Breakfast was great and beds were comfy enough. "

"Wonderful Hotel!! Staff is great, hotel is beautiful, surroundings are amazing. Excellent place."

"This was my next stay here and I'm sure I'll come back again soon :) "

"Very friendly staff. Cosy clean room with good bed. Good breakfast with lot to choose from (buffet). Restaurant with good food and service. Plenty of parking lots. Nice hotel that is very well maintained indoors and outdoors as well. Small village, but nice to walk around in it. No elevator and quite steep stairs."

"Great staff and restaurant. Very nice room on the Elbe R."

"Friendly staff, great food, close to everything."

"Bei Gretel is a wonderful place to stay. The staff is very friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious!"

"We arrived by train which was less than ideal as it is up a steep hill. Best to come by car. Having arrived there it was an ideal retreat and handy for a visit to the Bastion Bridge. Also has great views over Saxony Switzerland."

"Beautiful location. We stayed at the Kavalierhaus and the rooms could have used a little bit more upkeep, but overall great."

"The restaurant on site has a lot’s of menu options even vegetarian, foods are great and staffs are very friendly and nice. The location is very good for hiking Saxon Switzerland area on foot. Also this hotel gave me a guest ticket to get on tram & buses free."

"All was excellent , only the pillows in our room were not comfortable; They were very thin."

"Close to airport, and good value. Staff arranged taxi to airport. Not luxury, but perfect for one night b4 or after a flight. Outstanding breakfast."
