The hosts, Karl and Maria, are very friendly and helpful, gave us useful information on food opitons & trails when checking in Room (motel unit) was clean with full equipped kitchenette. The private Spa pool is a plus, relax after a full-day hiking. 」

「The two host owner are amazing and lovely, they truly care about everyone. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and updated in linen. Extremely clean kitchen and room. Super easy to be picked up for the shuttle to the Tongariro Alpine crossing right on from of the lodge. Easy to walk anywhere from the property. 」

「We were just passing through but wished we stayed longer. Rooms were fantastic, had a Queen suite with an en-suite and it was stunning - cannot recommend a stay here enough. I can imagine in ski season this is the perfect spot to begin and end your day, especially with a lovely pub, restaurant and warmed pool!」
