"Beautiful hotel in fabulous location - 7 mins walk away from train and most major attractions!
Really great hotel - very clean and hospitable. Room is really clean, spacious and bright. We stayed in the two double beds room, which were comfy. Decor is really modern. TV channels are interesting. Everyone is always so happy and eager to help out, esp the front desk staff. The breakfast in the morning is one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever encountered in our travels. A lot of offerings like croissant, eggs, yogurt, fruits, cereal, etc. The servers Jessica and Ivy are especially sweet, quick and nice to see before we start our days. The cappuccino also rivals those that we pay for outside the hotel. Great comfortable stay overall. They ended our trip by giving us a sweet note and biscotti, which was a nice touch."
"Clean and very spacious suite, king bed super comfortable, the staff very friendly, we arrived at 12:00 at noon, and the room was ready!! Excellent location close 2 min walking to the Duomo, a lot of restaurants, stores, the breakfast area very nice, but the scramble, bacon, was cold, but the rest was perfect, we enjoyed our stay, and we highly recommend this hotel

"I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Spadai! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the Duomo and within walking distance to everything Florence has to offer.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. The highlight for me was the breakfast—it was truly unlike anything I’ve ever seen, with an endless selection of pastries. On our first night, they even provided a turndown service with mints on the pillows.
For our early return flight, the hotel arranged a taxi for us at 4 a.m. and even had a to-go breakfast bag ready at the front desk.
I highly recommend Hotel Spadai—if you’re visiting Florence, you will not be disappointed!"
"Rapport qualité prix mauvais. Porte-fenêtre laissée ouverte par 2 fois par les femmes de chambre (sachant qu'un balcon était commun avec d'autres chambres). Douche non étanche (et donc de l'eau partout après la douche). "climatiseur" faisant un bruit de fond en permanence et impossible à éteindre. Hotel bruyant et mal isolé. Une première carte pour ouvrir la chambre qui ne fonctionnait pas. Je déconseille vivement."
"What a beautiful hotel!! Spacious room, updated nice bathroom, and gorgeous views and property. Very friendly staff, too. Breakfast is awesome and they had plenty GF options too. They also have a shuttle to take you up and down the hill to the main part of town, which was very helpful and meant we didn’t have to pay for taxis hardly at all. Overall an amazing place! "
"You are paying for the view!!!! This hotel was not worth the money spent in my opinion. The hotel staff was not very accommodating, though the restaurant staff was lovely. We had to bring our luggage up to our room and back down during check in and check out — no one even offered and trust me it was a hike to get it up there. Also they overcharged us at every turn. At their overpriced wine testing (which they were unprepared for our reservation, not set up and didn’t remember what we booked) they said a bottle was $40, then at dinner said the same bottle was now $65! Every glass of wine was steeply priced and the wine tasting was boring and uninformative. We preferred our wine tasting elsewhere (save your money!). The bed was extremely uncomfortable, worst one we slept on the whole trip. While the chef at their restaurant is incredible, we enjoyed our first dinner there and felt like it was worth the money. The food for the olive grove dinner was not as good and we didn’t even get to sit in the grove for most of the night due to the cold temps (the highlight was the incredible live band they had which saved the dinner for us). Overall we spent almost no time at the hotel and were very disappointed in the overall experience — not a luxury experience at all. Save your money, go elsewhere or be prepared to pay solely for the view. "
