「This is a beautiful old hotel property. It has great bones and the rooms have been updated and modernized nicely. That said, there are some very quirky aspects to the property. Firstly, there is no reception - just an automated machine that provides a key card. This means that there is no one to ask about parking, amenities etc. The second thing is that no one speaks English at all. The cleaning staff was very sweet but could not speak a word. 「The room was the perfect size and the facilities are all well maintained. The room had A/C but it was not as necessary to have since the windows could open (Lüften) at night. The city got quiet around 11:00PM or 23:00. Overall, very pleased and would highly recommend it!」
