「An absolute gem of a property - from rooms, bar, dining room and staff. Wonderful breakfasts prepared each morning. Do yourself a favour and book yourself a dinner there as well. Chef is very talented! The views of boats in the bay and the shoreline of Oban are spectacular from this property. Highly recommend.」

「The stumbling block for this hotel is they have no parking, but there is long term public parking for $7.50 within a 3 minute walk. The hotel is what you would expect for a 4 star hotel, clean room, comfortable bed, good amenities, professional helpful staff and an excellent breakfast.」

「The bed and floor were clean and we were only using it to sleep to be fair but the join under the sink kept soaking the floor and the kettle looked mouldy inside so we never got a cuppa. Also you can't share the room key link so my vaping partner had to keep borrowing my phone to go outside. Still was never supposed to be a room to hang out in properly I guess.」

「The host was very kind. The room was clean but the furniture and bedding was very outdated. The bed had an older mattress and it was squeaky and lumpy. It could be a cute place if it was updated. The furniture was worn and old and not attractive. The room felt very sad to be in. The TV was from the 1980s and super small. 」

「It’s a 100 year old property so expect to walk up stairs, it’s expected and they have done some renovations. The property smells moldy, the bed is horrible, super cheap pillows-they covered the bed in a plastic sheet which made you sweat all night and couldn’t keep windows open because of traffic. The WiFi is ridiculous and the fellow tried to convince us everyone uses an Ethernet cable versus wireless-so out of touch for phones/tablets and the room and bathroom were dusty and dirty in every...
