"We stayed at Hotel Palace Royal Centre-Ville par Jaro during the last week of July 2026.
We found the front-desk staff to be excellent, answering questions and providing information about local eateries when we arrived later in the evening of our first day.
Always pleasant with smiles and warm greetings. On the other hand, Concierge were basically non-existent and only once during our stay did a young gentlemen inquire if he could assist us. I was in a wheelchair and often could have used assistance.
I found the bed in our suite to be too soft and non-supporting. I sunk into it and ended up with extreme muscle spasms which reduced my already impaired mobility and was: therefore, unable to enjoy many of the tourist attractions that I had been anticipating.
Also, housekeeping missed us completely over our final week-end for us to return, with guests, to an unkept room and dirty bathroom. On the bathroom topic - 1 face/hand towel for several days is not adequate and wash cloths should be replaced daily.
I totally believe in water conservation and saving energy; but, the bathroom is not the room to leave dirty linens.
We did not use the dining room or bar and when we wished to purchase items in the shop were disappointed with the selection available."
