"Just needed a quick place to stay for a night. Staff was accommodating since we arrived later and the check-in process was speedy. Was placed in an ADA room, although not requested. It was spacious but unfortunately we couldn’t fully shut the bathroom door. The door was a sliding barn door style which was obviously not installed correctly due to how difficult it was to move and due to the existing floor and wall damage. Furthermore, the bathroom drywall and flooring appeared water-damaged. Lastly, the water worked properly that night, but for some reason, it did not the next morning. So, we left before check-out time and notified the staff about the water issue. "
"This was a horrible experience from start to finish. When we checked in, the staff never asked how many guests would be staying in the room. We booked a room with two queen-sized beds, which reasonably accommodates multiple people.
About 20 minutes after we checked in, two of our friends stopped by briefly to help us unpack and were already in the process of leaving. Suddenly, a staff member came to our door smoking a cigarette and started yelling at us about having four people in the room. Instead of calmly explaining anything, they were hostile and confrontational right away.
Then they demanded we pay an extra fee for additional guests, even though the front desk never asked us the number of occupants during check-in. That’s a mistake on the hotel’s part, not the customer’s. Guests shouldn’t be yelled at or pressured to pay unexpected fees because of poor communication from staff.
The whole interaction felt unprofessional, aggressive, and uncomfortable. Being approached at the door by an employee smoking and shouting at guests is not acceptable behavior for any hotel.
Between the lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and the way the situation was handled, I would not recommend staying here."
"Very old property in the middle of updates according to signage throughout but no other indicator of improvement. We were told to park in the back. We had our car broken into and robbed within 10 minutes of arrival and filed a police report. Cameras could not be immediately accessed so we had to leave town with no resolution. After this process we moved our car to the front since we were told the front desk “is manned 24 hours”. More on this later.
We also noted the back door closest to our room was never actually locked, in spite of messages posted to the contrary. Y’all, the breakin and the unsecured door did not contribute to a restful night.
Rooms were okay- for their age. We had to bring the febreeze in for a musty smell and to aid non functional bathroom fans. Candy on the floor and dusty cabinets left us wondering if the cleaning was done thoroughly?
At check out we left our key card on the ***unmanned front desk on the way out to the car. We came back in the lobby several times for ice and trash disposal as we prepared to leave. I could hear a bell alert in the office each time I reentered. I finally needed a bathroom break and just reclaimed my unattended key card from the ***still unmanned front desk.
Stay at your own risk. We won’t risk it in future."
"Free parking in front of the room. Staff was super helpful and nice. Room has been updated and had a great mattress.
Clean room/bathroom.
Would definitely stay here again.
