"We booked a 2 bedroom apartment which was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were really helpful when we struggled to work out how the hob worked. Everywhere was really clean. We can not say enough about the staff. We arrived early and Nario was waiting at the gate to welcome us. We were offered coffee and a Pompeii fridge magnet from the owner which was a nice personal touch. We were their first guests of the season. The pool wasn't open , which we weren't surprised about but the pool and garden area were really nice. A great stay and highly recommend. It felt like we were staying with friends."

"Good hotel, beside the archaeology park entrance and dominating the town just off the square. Nothing to fault except the breakfast which should be done differently. A self-serve tea coffee machine would be a start. The hot selection left a lot to be desired too. A much cheaper stay on our trip had a better breakfast experience. "

"Our room was okay (Classic Room). No hot drink making facilties in the room. Shower was very low powered. Breakfast was good in a nice airy room. Outside terrace lovely in amongst lemon trees. Good location for Pompeii and train stations for getting to other popular destinations "

"Nice hotel. Amazing breakfast and fantastic views from the roof top Terrace. Sadly there was building work going on in the room next to us which disturbed us a little first thing (and the maid tried to enter the room to clean it two hours before check out which was a little odd). Would still stay again as it was perfect for a visit to the town. "

"The room was in great condition, clean, overlooking the gulf and across from Mount Vesuvius. The bathtub was heavenly, staff was friendly and spoke English well enough for us to converse. We booked here for the views and the idea that we would easily be able to get to the train station in Castellammare di Stabia via the offered shuttle. Here are the cons. The listings indicate that there is a shuttle to the train station during scheduled times and at request but apparently that is closed during the offseason so we paid about $40/day for a taxi to take us 2 miles each way. The breakfast buffet with the same thing each day. Communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was difficult, emails going unanswered and then not including requested information. Booking through Expedia doesn't allow you to log in to the hotel booking directly to add anything on to your reservation and doing so separately didn't result in getting what was requested. We visited in February, knowing that it is the off season and some things would not be available to us, however, many things were not mentioned that would be closed during this time. The outdoor pool was closed, and that was well advertised, but you would think it would be covered or at least not green and slimy looking. The excursions they can assist with don't exist in winter either. With a nearly empty resort and many amenities unavailable at this time, you would think they would have upgraded our room or something."
