「The home was quiet and felt safe. Giovanni was an amazing host. He prepared breakfast for us each day and gave us many recommendations for our visit to Pompeii. We wanted to cram as much in as possible and he slowed us down and explained how much time our planned activities would actually take. We had no idea what the required time at the ruins would be. 「Only 15 minute walk (with bags) from the Pompei archeological site. Great (and inexpensive) pizza place a couple of hundred metres down the road (recommended by Antonio), and a couple of hundred metres from two supermarkets. Antonio is awesome - he met us, let us in and showed us around. The apartment is lovely (and roomy). A proper shower that didn't make you feel like you were showering in a shoe box! 「Dario the owner of the apartment is very helpful if you need any help pre visit or whilst your at the apartment and is quick to respond to any enquiries,he even met us from the Pompeii train station when we arrived to show us the apartment.The apartments themselves are nice with a balcony with a nice view of Vesuvio and the cathedral and clock tower and has a great roof terrace and is situated in a mixture of local and farming properties.theres a continental breakfast offered and great coffee...

「We traveled to the area with friends who had booked at a different hotel just down the street from Il Vecchio Fauno. We stayed here (there was no vacancy at the hotel where our friends were), and were pleased with the experience.
