「Staff and service were fine. Disappointed restaurant wasn't open except for breakfast as no coach parties in, also bar not staffed. Should have been able to request service from reception but told bar was closed for weekend, on a Thursday. Breakfast good and generous. Clean and basic.」

「A wonderful place to stay in Ilfracombe. Lorraine and Adrian were excellent hosts and very welcoming. My room and ensuite were great, with a view down over the town and towards the sea. Spotlessly clean. There is a new terrace area for seating outside and they have retained the Honesty Bar downstairs with a range of beers, ciders, wine and soft drinks. The breakfast area opens out on to the terrace and the Breakfast menu is truly amazing with a massive choice and ALL dietary needs catered for....

「Staff were very friendly the room was cleaned every day and it was a nice size room as well. Breakfast was lovely and you had a choice of what to have (Full English breakfast was plenty and lovely) I would recommend it to everyone who is interested in staying at Ilfracombe.」

「Overall nit too bad. Car parking was an issue and we had booked a table for two for my husband's birthday dinner and they committed to tell us they had a full house with a quiz on that evening. We had to get elsewhere. The owner was not very accommodating at all.」

「Lovely little apartment.. very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable! Hot tub was lovely and we sat in it and watched the sunset over the sea. Complex is quite run down but work is ongoing to improve the facilities. A manual for the hot tub would have been useful having never used one before.」

However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.」
