"There was nobody at the desk when we arrived. Had to wait for 10 mins for someone to show up. But we arrived earlier tha 3pm and we were given a room, so no complains on that front."

"What a great hotel. The rooms are spacious, plenty of room for my 5 kids in the 2 queen and sofabed room. Comfy beds, good water pressure. Very quiet. Pool was great and we used it a ton. The breakfast was fine - all pre-packaged type food but it’s what you would expect. Plenty of toppings for the oatmeal. Very kind staff. Convenient to have a checkout not till 12! Time for pool in the morning! Liked that there was both coffee and tea in the lobby always available, including herbal tea. Exercise room was nice too, and there are washing machines ($4). Would not hesitate to stay here again for Providence area, and only 1 hr to Boston too. "

"Desk staff were exceptionally helpful, things that needed to be taken care of In my room were handled within minutes and the house keepers were all very friendly especially Leesa, I will be staying for 14 days in February "

"Our stay at the Publick House was Amazing! We stayed in Room 509, in the building to the Left of the Main Building. The room was super clean and the building was decorated beautifully for Christmas. We ate at the Main Restaurant and that was scrumptious! We did have 1 issue with the thermostat in that it was very hot in the room And we couldn't get the thermostat lower than 69. We were told to put it on air conditioning and that it would go down from there but it still didn't decrease. I ended up shutting it off and it was fine all night. I'm sure that will get fixed before the next guest. :) Beautiful place! We hope to be back! "

"The room, service and hospitality were all top notch. The breakfast was so so because you didn’t offer eggs without cheese. And the potatoes were much too spicy. The juice and coffee were very good. The breakfast room was very comfortable, clean, organized and welcoming. I will definitely stay again the next time I am visiting. "
