THIS VIK HOTEL ARENA BLANCA IS THE BEST. I AM GIVING THIS HOTEL 5 STARTS. STAFF IS EXTREMELY FROENDLY AND HELPFULL. FOʻOD IS EXCELLENT. THE SWIMMING POOLS ARE VERY CLEAN. THE ROOM WHERE I WAS WITH MY WIFE WAS CLEAN AND WELL KEPT. WE HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AND 24 HRS HOT WATER. THE CHECK IN WAS VERY FAST AND EXTREMELY FRIENDLY.. I WILL RECOMMEND THIS RESORT TO ANY BODY THAT WANT TO HAVE SOME TIMES TO RELAX AND HAVE SOME QUIET TIME. OH MY GOD THEY HAVE EXCELLENT SHOWS EVERY NIGHT.

I was very disappointed with this facility. While the grounds were exceptional the rooms were very old, outdated, and probably haven't had any updated or improvements since the day it was built. I was very unhappy that I made this selection with so many nice places in the vicinity.

O resort não tinha água para tomar banho!!! Depois só tinha água gelada. O Banheiro do quarto parecia que nunca foi limpo!!! A área externa é boa, mas a estrutura do Hotel está velha sem a manutenção adequada. Outro exemplo é o restaurante o chão não era lavado só passavam um pano. Quase não dava para ficar em Pé. Fora a atenção dos funcionários eles fazem grandes jornadas de trabalho com isso sempre está estressados. Fora a minha reserva que demorou mas de 40 min para achar durante o check in.

it was horrible rooms very old couldn't even open the closet doors and the main pool was under remodeling . sea weed on the beach couldn't even see the sand. piles of it and the smell from see weed. its the worst hotel in Punta Cana. expedia should not even put this hotel in travel section . it had 4 star rating it should minus 4 stars. i will never book thru expedia again. i should get a full refund from my stay thank you for your time. jm

The staff was always confused and unsure. They also confirmed airport pick up and then forgot and never showed up. Leaving me to figure it out. The seaweed was very bad and they made a poor effort to clean it. The drinks were horrible and did not taste how they were supposed to. They promote 3 restaurants but I only have the third opened every other day. Rooms did not have comforters only a thin sheet. Pool was nice.

Overall, our stay was fairly good. We understood from the beginning that this is a relatively budget hotel, so we didn’t have high expectations. The food was a pleasant surprise — everything was tasty, and there was a good variety of dishes to choose from. We’d also like to especially mention the young man at the front desk: we arrived late, and he kindly suggested we go for dinner first before dealing with check-in and payment. That was very thoughtful and much appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff didn’t leave the same impression. Most employees seemed unfriendly, rarely smiled, and this was especially noticeable at the bars. Because of that, it didn’t really feel like a place where you’d want to leave tips, which is a pity. The rooms and overall hotel facilities are quite outdated — including the sunbeds and furniture around the property. That said, we are not very picky, and everything essential was there, so it was fine for us. What was truly frustrating was the room key cards. They kept getting demagnetized constantly — even brief contact with a phone would make them stop working. We had to go to the reception several times a day to reactivate them, which became very tiring. Another disappointing aspect was the condition of the public restrooms around the hotel. Many of the stall doors didn’t lock or were simply broken. Fixing basic latches is not a major expense, and it’s quite unacceptable to have to use a toilet with the door not closing properly.

For the most part the staff was excellent! We didn’t receive a true welcoming once we arrived. The reason we stayed at the hotel was to possibly look into having a wedding there. We learned that at check-in they no longer host wedding. 😡 Need to remove that from advertising. We had bugs in our room, contacted service desk - we were told someone was coming. No one showed (we reported the sighting 1 day and we were there for 4 nights). We ended buying bug spray and doing it ourselves. I’m sure others have had great experiences, ours wasn’t. It’s an outdated hotel with tons of potential. If I see it ever gets renovated, may try again. However we will not be back anytime soon!

Incredible staff that was quick to accommodate any issues that came up. The air conditioner went out and they promptly changed our room with the only delay being that the bed was not made. The food was good overall. Lots of options. Beautiful pools. Very nice beach despite the seaweed that was all over Bavaro beaches. The entertainment was fun. All that being said, if all inclusive is what your looking for, this was an amazing choice for us, and I highly recommend this location to enjoy Punta Cana.
