Overall, great experience. My husband and I were celebrating our 30 yr anniversary. From arriving to the resort, the staff was amazing and very accommodating and made our stay special. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Restaurants had a nice variety of foods. The nightly entertainment at the resort was a plus. We look forward to coming back in the future.

food quality below average. misfunctioning coffee makes at restaurants. golf course was good, but the way of treating golfers was very poor: no tees provided, food cart carries poor foods, old malfunctioning golf carts with no GPS - expensive green fees were not justified. hard to secure tee-time reservation. I had a fantastic experience staying at Iberostar Waves Dominicana. it was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. The location was perfect. We add access to the beach. The restaurants/buffet was delicious. A lot of options. Excellent customer service. The staff were very responsive, friendly, and helpful with local tips and recommendations. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. I felt very safe and welcoming. I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting DR and I hope to stay here again on my next trip!
