Not too many vegetarian Dishes. Menu was only online. It would been better if you have a QR code at the front desk for the restaurant menu and also QR code in the restaurant tables so easy access to the menu. Just to find the menu was not easy. It was hard to find the menu online. You need atleast one person for the restaurants who can speak little English. It was very hard to explain and order food. Some night my friends were hungry because could not order properly. Hot tub was Luke warm it could be little hotter. Other wise it was excellent we were 8 adults. 5 out of 8 were vegetarian. Facility was great not over crowed. One morning we could not find the chairs on the beach and staff notices us that we’re looking for beach chairs. and staff immediately brought extra chairs and set us up. we were amazed with the service. WORST. FOOD. EVER. I’ve been to many all inclusives, so my expectations were not high. The food at all of the restaurants was very sub-par. The buffet was passable, but unlike other all-inclusives, there was no dinner buffet (just breakfast & lunch), so you were stuck with one of the restaurants or - even worse - room service as dinner options. The staff were a mix of lovely and friendly, and very grumpy. I also noticed many people NOT tipping, which could contribute to the grumpiness. The room and grounds were very nice and clean, as were the pools, etc. The drinks were strong, which was a pleasant surprise. But again, I tipped the bartenders well! If it weren’t for the poor quality of the food, I would definitely return here. However, the food was so bad that I won’t be coming back.

This is by far the best resort we have been to in Punta Cana. The selection of food was great. The breakfast has several options, the steakhouse served the best steaks. The Asian restaurant has very good food. The coffee shop served very good coffee , pastries and ice cream. The gym was great also serving healthy juices. The staff was very friendly and polite. The activity during the day were great. There was always beds and towels available around the pool and the beach. This resort is good for a relaxing vacation. Not much was going on as night entertainment. I would highly recommend it for a nice relaxing vacation.

I heard many great things about this place and had high hopes- however, the experience itself was just okay… 1. The food at the buffet was all lukewarm where the hot food wasn’t hot and cold wasn’t cold.. 2. The food throughout the rest of the resort were also okay but nothing blew our mind. Our worst meals were at the buffet and Spice (their sushi was one of the worst we ever experienced, we rather have gotten sushi at our local supermarket at home) Strangely the best thing we had were the mashed potatoes at The Grill. 3. Our room was nice at first, however after we showered in our first day, we noticed water dripping from the fan in our bathroom, we requested a different room but they insisted that maintenance will take care of it, which they did partially- as it started to drip again but not so much as the first time that we didn’t really care. But after that, we noticed every place we went to, they couldn’t find our room number and name. It wasn’t until our last night there that they did in fact change our room from the first initial complaint, and yet they didn’t notify us or give us new room keys. So the entire stay we were stuck with a room with a dripping ceiling fan… 4. We were looking forward to some of the programs they had to offer such as the dance lessons- however even after going to the location, it never happened. Seems like they switch the times up last minute without updating guests or the schedule on the app they provided. 5. However the location was nice,

The property was exceptional. Our party of six enjoyed the pool and swim up bar, tennis clinic, pool/ping pong, and arts and crafts. We had an excellent experience at the Spa- incredible massages and loved the hydrotherapy session that was included. Staff were wonderful in all locations except for the lobster house and spice restaurants where service was very slow and unfriendly. We felt we were imposing by being there and the food at both of these restaurants was poor. Some of it was inedible - like the crab cake and clam chowder at the lobster house and the salmon sushi at Spice. Because it was so poor. Food at the kitchen buffet was great for breakfast and lunch, but the other restaurants were average at best. We were also disappointed to learn that the beach, while beautiful, was considered to be "unswimmable" most of the year. We would have chosen a different resort if we had know this as we all love to get in the ocean when on a beach vacation. The only time we were able to do that was when we booked a snorkeling trip. Overall, the resort amenities and super helpful staff made the trip special. We had a great time and if you aren't into getting in the ocean and don't mind average food, this will be a good destination for you.

We had an amazing stay! The hotel is truly great—very clean, with delicious food and drinks, and a fantastic entertainment team that made everything fun and enjoyable. The customer service was excellent from start to finish, and we felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. We were also celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend!

Excellence all inclusive was an absolutely beautiful resort to stay at. The staff were incredible and looked like they genuinely enjoyed being there. Special shoutout to rancel he was absolutely amazing. The food was 4/5 stars for my boyfriend and I. The pool area was very big. We also loved the pickle ball court and the gym was the nicest i’ve seen from a hotel. I would recommend this resort to anyone!

EPC was a nice resort, but not the higher end that we were used to during our stays at other Excellence Resorts. The hotel is aging but they are constantly working to upkeep the grounds. The rooms are not as luxurious as their sister hotels, for example the shower has painted walls, not tile. The service was no where near what we experienced in other Excellence locations. The bellhops and check in at the Excellence club was great, but service in other areas was less friendly. Our bright spot for restuarant service was Davey at Chez Isabelle who was so friendly and pleasant. The bartenders were just ok, it felt like no one really went out of their way to be friendly. Just doing the job. The entertainment staff and offerings were poor. They did not attempt to engage people in the few activities that were offered, and did not attempt to enhance participation. By far the worst entertainment team I have seen. The other biggest issue were the menus at the restaurants. They have been reduced to such small offerings that at times it was hard to find something that sounded good, and often the items did not match the descriptions in the menu at all. Even the items which have been on the menus for years the recipes and presentations have declined. We met many people who have been here several times, but I would not return to this particular resort in the Excellence group.
