「I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled...

「Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits dans cet hôtel. Les chambres réservées n'étaient clairement pas conformes à nos attentes. Nous a ions payé environ 100 euros la nuit. Les chambres étaient situé tout en haut d'escaliers, dans la forêt. Très sombres, sans fenêtre et très petites. Je suis allée voir la réception qui m'a gentiment fait visiter 2 autres logements. 「El hotel está en medio de la isla (pero en 5-7min andando llegas a las 2 playas). Si llevas maletas grandes la llegada se te hará complicada ya que está cuesta arriba. El hotel está descuidado (como la mayoría de los de la isla) Así que si eres muy escrupuloso, no lo recomiendo. Con el ventilador de techo para dormir es suficiente. El dueño fue muy amable.」

「I’m giving this hotel 2 stars mainly because of the cleanliness and the overall condition of both the hotel and the room, which felt quite run-down and in need of maintenance. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful, and the location is definitely a strong point. However, considering the price we paid (over €100 per night, almost 500 MYR), I don’t feel it offers good value for money. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made.」

「Lo peor de todo la limpieza y el estado de la habitación standard. Es UN sitio que necesita una lavada de cara urgente. Las sábanas de la habitación estaban rotas y había telarañas en las paredes, por no hablar del baño y el WC. Lo solucionaron a medias al hablar con ellos. Aparte de esto, está muy bien situado, el desayuno buenísimo y el personal muy amable. 」
