Unbelievable beach and the water was incredible! You can snorkel right from the beautiful white sand beach. Buy (or bring) a good mask and you are all set. Head to Long Beach for some better food if you wish. Book the beachfront rooms if you can...it is worth the few.extra bucks. Pool is nice. You will not be disappointed as long as you don't mind a taxi ride from one of the close cities and a 35-45 minute boat shuttle! Worth the travel there 100%! Enjoy!

The beach where hotel is situated is the best beach on the island, and overal the hotel is better than I expected from reviews. Where things got really bad for me is: 1. No wifi and no reception (4G / 5G) coverage from my sim card in the room. I could not do anything in my room, had to go to the reception / restaurant area every time I needed to check anything. 2. Food in the restaurant was just horrible. I could not understand how a location in Malaysia could possibly make things like fried rice or noodles completely uneadible. It wouldn't even require extra costs to improve the food, just the bare minimal amount of effort and care

id been this hotel 7th times.in front of there that beach has much many kind of fishes and turtle! therefore named turtle beach.but this time we couldnt c leaf monky nothing there.7years ago many leaf monkey there.very cute. missing.near beach tour feeding too much.made water to dirty.not national park already.im very sorry.

The location is paradise and great for a few days but the property is tired and needs a lot of work. The food at the restaurant was so average we went to the big island for dinner. If this resort was tidied up it would be a truely magical place to go as the beach is stunning with turtles straight out front .

The resort and surroundings could be a bit cleaner. Food is average but there are a couple of other dining options a few minutes away. Land and boat transfer were poorly arranged by the reservation office but we managed to transfer by ourselves (very easy, lots of taxis and boats available at/from airport to jetty). The best part is the gorgeous beach with crystal clear waters…a dream come true!

Would definitely stay again

So, I loved this place. It was definitely worth splashing out for the ocean view room. The beach in high season was not busy at all. Best beach I’ve ever seen. Snorkling right on your own beach. Food was barely passable. Take a water taxi across to Long Beach to eat. They could improve this and it would make it much better. The rooms were a bit broken down but we didn’t mind at all. AC worked fine and we didn’t have any bugs and the beds were good enough. We were very happy here. They even have a tennis court (or what was once a tennis court). Staff were very sweet. Especially the male porters. Smiling and happy.

PIR is probably the best hotel on the perhentians, considering the wonderful beach closeby populated by the most beautiful wildlife and the nice location of the bungalows themselves. There are many activities available. The room is well-equipped and beautiful, very-well cleaned, although not perfectly. The only defect of the structure is the restaurant: the prices are quite high compared to the rest of the island and the food is average

Stayed in renovated room. Nothing exciting about the rooms. Drab bathrooms. Food not worth talking unfortunately (even the local food is boring) about but plentiful. No alcohol allowed on premises but smoking is allowed everywhere. Wifi only at reception area. Pool seems to have under repairs for sometime.

Overall wonderful experience. My daughter picked going here again over other vacation in SE Asia. Just after booking the trip, my wife broke her ankle. The paths are not scooter friendly, but that was not a top priority when we were picking a vacation spot. She healed enough before we left that she was able to swim, and see her favorite animal, the sea turtles. Which was our top priority. Excellent local wildlife on land and in water. Very convenient snorkeling out your front door.

Lo mejor del hotel es sin duda la playa que tiene, las vistas y el entorno. Atencion correcta, desayuno buffet mejorable. Las instalaciones, habitaciones, zonas comunes, etc están muy deterioradas. La limpieza de las habitaciones a la entrega de las mismas era prácticamente inexistente. Volvería a la playa sin dudarlo pero no al hotel

Chambre propre et spacieuse. Bon petit déjeuner. Très belle plage avec possibilité de voir de tortues et requins. Cependant, mauvais service au restaurant. Nous avons attendu 30 minutes sans que la commande n’ait pu être prise alors qu’il n’y avait aucun client. Nous avons aussi fait une réservation pour du snorkling et quand nous sommes arrivés, celle-ci n’était pas prévue car nous n’avions pas payé à l’avance (personne ne nous avait dis qu’il fallait payer pour que la réservation soit effective).

Lieu idyllique mais hôtel perfectible

Hôtel très bien situé sur une superbe plage, le cadre est superbe. La chambre elle, n'est par contre pas extraordinaire, sol abîmé, propreté pas irréprochable. Le petit déjeuner est bien par contre le buffet du soir n'est pas terrible ainsi que les plats à la carte et le service au restaurant est perfectible. Bref mieux vaut aller manger au restaurant de l'hôtel d'à côté.

L’hébergement était très calme, climatisé, à côté de la forêt et à 5 min de la plage. Pleins d’animaux dans le jardin.pas de moustiques. La literie très confortable. De nouvelles serviettes et bouteilles d’eau fournies chaque jour, un buffet pour petit dej copieux. C’était top et paradisiaque.

Emplacement fabuleux. Plage magnifique la plus belle des deux îles. Poissons requins tortues. Sable blanc pure et ultra fin demander un emplacement à l’arrière de la piscine exemple n 336. Calme vue sur le parc et animaux. Petit dej assez répétitif dommage. Transfert par bateaux vers d’autres points. Parfait. Nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel

Hotelværelse 119 fantastisk dejligt - opgraderet med toiletpapir hvilket der ikke var på det første værelse vi var på. Fantastisk terrasse med forrygende udsigt. Kan kun anbefales. Gå udenom de “ gamle” værelser som er ildelugtende og uden toiletpapir.
