This hotel was very clean, nice rooms at great prices and excellent food. Staff were all exceptional

This was like the 10th stay with Hotel Kundalini. So, I obviously love the hotel. It's about 100 meters north of the craziness of downtown Montanita You cannot hear anything but the ocean. It's a beautiful and tranquil place. The rooms are clean. They're quiet. They're set up nicely so you can immediately assimilate and get comfortable. I highly recommend the hotel. I think they're amazinly good at being helpful. ON a weird note, The car would not start. The owner personally drove to a car...

Stayed for 5 nights with my girlfriend. The owners of the hotel are lovely people, they were both very helpful and attentive and even gave us a free breakfast when we showed up way before our check-in time. The property is beautiful and relaxing. If you want to surf this is the place to stay. The owner shapes his own balsa boards which he rents and sells. they are beautiful boards, he has every shape and length you could want, and a short alley leads you directly to the best surf spot in...

Cozy, clean, friendly environment

Best place in Olon! Amazing hotel owner and staff - they not only accommodated my early check-in, but also gave me a free upgrade to the top floor sea-view room! I was wow’ed the moment I entered the room. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful - someone sent luggage straight to my room, the kitchen accommodated my non-Ecuadorian lunch and dinner hours with customized, delicious dish, and they helped arrange a taxi to Guayaquil. The room is well designed and laid out - one of the best I’ve...

Buena atención, y el personal es amable.

I arrived at the Dharma Beach Hotel to find that the room I had booked was not available. The manager told me he had advised hotels.com to cancel the booking, but they had not done this, so I received no communication that there were any issues with my reservation. On this particular night (new years eve) the hotel was totally booked out, as was every other hotel in Montanita. The manager was apologetic about the situation, and organized me to stay in a room not normally used for guests at a...

The location was spot on. Love it! My only advice to those travelers is bring some repellent. It could come in handy.
