"Currently very dirty. I felt so sorry for the cleaners I made sure to leave a 5 Euro per day tip for their hard work but even the best cleaners could not keep up with the dirt around this property currently. There is messy reconstruction of the onsite pool, a big port construction project right across the street and a total remodel of a big hotel next door. Plus sand from the beach blows in and people do not clean up after their dogs on the sidewalk to the beach. Yuck. Many dogs in hotel shed hair that gets on your clothes. Parents hold infants in dirty clothes over the food in the breakfast room while filling their plates. No screens on windows."

"The 'amenities' quoted (spa, fitness centre, etc) were in a separate building across the road and were not included in the price we paid. We understood that off road parking would be available on site. We were told on arrival that this was not available and we would have to park in the street, which had paid parking spaces in front of the hotel and free spaces two blocks up the road. We had to move our car before 9 am to avoid a penalty. We expected a hotel of this quality to have a lounge/bar open to guests, However this closed at 9:30 every night except weekends. On our second night, we decided to dine in the hotel. but were amazed to find there were no kitchen staff and one of the receptionists provided us with microwaved meals. To be fair, they were better than we expected. We booked an accessible room; it had grab rails in the shower and by the handbasin, but none within reach of the toilet. We reported this on our second day morning and by early afternoon, they had fitted one for us. Top marks for speed of service."

"The hotel is a breath of fresh air. It is so clean and the staff is so friendly and the room is so quiet. I truly enjoyed my stay. It’s also close to many wonderful restaurants."

"This was a beautiful boutique hotel and spa. The breakfast was great, a lot of fresh breads, cheeses, pancakes, eggs, bacon fresh oj and coffee and tea. The staff was very helpful and polite. And, my massage was terrific!"

"The facilities are extremely basic. There was no coffee or tea, water boiler, hair dryer provided, just some dirty paper cups. I also found hair in the sink. Essentially, all you get is a bed with pillows, but even the bed sheets were dirty."

"Great stay. Perfect location. Fabulous breakfast. All staff very helpful and friendly. Room was a bit warm but air conditioning not available at this stage of the year. Would definitely stay again anytime. "
