"Our two-night stay at Palais Hotel in Büyükada was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Everyone was kind, professional, and genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay unique and memorable.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with a stunning waterfront location. We loved relaxing on the private pier, where guests can enjoy complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. The hotel also provides free kayaks, which was such a fun bonus and a wonderful way to enjoy the sea. The pool area is gorgeous, with a full bar serving delicious drinks and excellent food throughout the day.
Our room was cozy, comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding—it exceeded all of our expectations with its quality, variety, and freshness. It was easily one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had.
One of the sweetest touches was the adorable kittens around the property. They were well cared for, gentle, and respectful, adding even more charm to an already magical place.
We can’t recommend Palais Hotel highly enough. If you’re visiting Büyükada, this is the perfect place to stay. Thank you to the entire team for creating such an unforgettable experience—we can’t wait to come back!"
"If you were looking for a delightful place to spend a weekend outside of Istanbul, this is definitely the place. The staff and management are excellent, the cocktails and the food are on point. Everything is scrupulously, clean and well ordered to be aware though, that in order to keep the charm of this old school building, there is no air-conditioning. If you can open your windows to catch the air from the sea, you should be fine at night even during the summer. Otherwise, there’s just these very old school fans and that’s about it. The bathrooms are basic, but the rooms are lovely. You don’t wanna miss this place at all."
"The room had a lot of charm reminding me of the Victorian decor throughout. I had a tiny balcony that looks out to a small park. The wood floors creaked on some spots as well as the bed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and I loved sitting by the terrace area under the beautiful bougainvillea cascading down. Hotel is located about 15 minutes from the port. You can walk and also get a buggy taxi by the bus station if you have several luggages. I loved the charm of the island so much."
"Lokasyon mükemmel. Çalışanlar kibar ve yardımsever. Odalar gayet temiz ve düzenli. Kısacası herşey gayet güzeldi. Fiyatları da gayet makul. Bir dahaki seferde kesinlikle konaklayacağım yer burası"
"A hotel with lots of character set in the most gorgeous Turkish countryside. Staff are warm and friendly, the room was clean and had good amenities. The sea view from our window and the main terrace was incredible especially at night!"
"The staff are amazing and incredibly helpful. They could speak English, and were so kind. The view from the pool is second to none. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast being included was perfect for our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want quiet and a beautiful view with incredible pool. It’s far from the ports and straight uphill so we used the golf cart taksi. Don’t walk or bike unless you are in incredible shape in my opinion!"
"I booked this hotel and overnight stay to escape the hustle and bustle of Istanbul. The time of year (mid-May), location and condition of this hotel made all of that possible. It's a 7-10 minute walk from the ferry station and close to all the restaurants, cafes and shops. Check-in was easy and pleasant. Fortunately I only had one flight of stairs to climb to reach my room. I had hoped for a lift. The decor of the room was delightful and in keeping with the history of the island. My room had a balcony with a view overlooking the pool. The room could do with a few repairs, but overall was in good condition. Comfortable beds are important to me and this one didn't disappoint. There was air-conditioning, blackout blinds, a tv, kettle, tea and coffee, and an extra comfy single couch. Breakfast was included in the cost and consisted of bread slices, jams, honey, multiple cheeses, olives, tomatoes, and cucumber, plus a canister of tea. I'd definitely book this place again."
"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. It is in a quiet street but very close to the centre of town. The staff were all lovely and accomodating. The breakfast was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful weekend away from the bustle of Istanbul. "
