「Good location in the centre of the city. Room design was well considered, but the amount of space given to bathroom was too generous at the expense of the bedroom. Also, there was insufficient space for hanging clothes.」

「Owner Paul is very accommodating and hands on. Our room for 4 was big. Wished that there were 2 bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent. The only negative was wifi is not strong at all. 」

「Das Hotel beeindruckt besonders durch die vielen kleinen liebevollen Details. Ein wahrer Gegenentwurf zu Luxushotels von der Stange. In jeder Ecke und Niesche gibt es etwas zu erkunden und zu entdecken. Es wird einem daher auch nie langweilig, auch wenn man das Burggelände nie verlässt. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt ist der Burggarten. Man kann sich dort auch die Zeit u.a. mit einer Partie Schach oder Boccia vertreiben. Die Zimmer sind alle indiviluell und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Schon...

「Reception experience not good which is why we marked lower. Asked for payment despite Expedia having been already paid so ended up being double charged for stay which I have had to refer to credit card company. Allocated incorrect rooms to our party and then accused us of being confused despite handing the room keys out. Shame as the other staff we met were really friendly and helpful - especially in the restaurant. Facilities and breakfast were excellent as was the location.」

「My husband and I stayed at Das Ebertor Hotel for 3 days. It was a perfect place to explore the Rhine region. Access to trains is a 2 minute walk so easy to get to other towns. KD ferry dock is just out front on the promenade making it super convenient. Breakfast was lovely and a nice way to start the day. Rooms were really clean and spacious. We looked out over the river...spectacular! Great place for a home base」
