My mom and I were very happy with our experience at Hotel Koruna. Staff provided us with new towels every day and made our beds. This hotel is closer to new town and is about a 15-20 minute walk to a lot of the main attractions for tourists, but we are active people and don't mind the walk. I only include that in case anyone's reading for location purposes. There's a lovely cafe right downstairs and it's fairly close to Petrin Park and the Dancing House. We would stay here again!

Comfortable and great location!
The staff were extremely friendly and gave good information. Location is brilliant and gift package in room is delightful.
Only issue was there is no signal for the television.
The room is surprisingly spacious, considering the nice quiet location close to the interesting region and the suppressed price. The structure is old fashioned, but the hotel seems to be managed perfectly well: the room is very clean and quite comfortable without any malfunctions of facilities.
The stay was great, the room and the hotel in general were very clean. The location is perfect for visiting the city and it's very close to the metro too.
I arrived with a late check-in and I got very detailed instructions for checking in. All around a very good experience
Absolutely brilliant hotel. Really nice staff, rooms were super clean and with en-suite right by the bed. Lots of room to store things. Really A Highly recommended
Very nice stay: welcoming reception, bright room and clean, clean bathroom, kettle and tea in the room, so important after a day of walking and visiting in the cold weather!!
We will certainly recommend the hotel koruna!!
Lovely , large and clean apartment with 2 doubles bed and one sofa.

Property is very old and it definitely needs some renovation...good location though (walkable distance to main streets with good restaurants and grocery stores). However, a lot of noise with construction next door (starting at 6am) and noise from restaurant/bar underneath the hotel...Also, property closes it doors at 8pm and you will not have help at reception (they even lock their only vending machine) and are not back until around 9am. You are getting what you paid for.

Disliked: Staff & service, amenities
Hotel Koruna’s only virtue is its decent location—everything else is a cautionary tale. I have little confidence any 5-star reviews are genuine.
After a booking mistake and a long travel day with kids, we dropped by to check availability. The receptionist, Alina, assured us the Family Room with balcony was a nicer room. We booked at noon, returned 330pm (she said can access 3-4pm), and waited until 350pm to be told to return 45 mins later! We had a concert to attend so got back 7pm. What awaited us was shockingly bleak: a sterile, lifeless suite nothing like the photos. The “balcony” was a cramped trap facing concrete walls, with a filthy safety net below. Inside, a dim hallway linked three bare bedrooms—TV, bed, side table, that’s it. A tiny tiled “meal space” with mismatched furniture hinted it might’ve once been a bathroom. Windows were 1.7m from floor so no view!
The hallway light flickered all night, with a loud click, ruining sleep. The bathroom was an army barrack setup - separate toilet, shoebox shower. My wife even hurt her finger on the cramped antique lift door.
We complained to a second receptionist, Adelia, who promised a refund for unused nights after clearing it with her manager. She even confirmed our early checkout by text. Yet two days later, Hotels.com said Koruna denied any refund—and had already resold our dates!!
Hotel Koruna lures with location but delivers false advertising, poor service, and rooms that feel more punishment than hospitality.
Big and cozy room; excellent service throughout our stay. Hairdryer and complementary earplugs given

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
The hotel was good. After nine there is no one at the reception but the hotel contacted me via WhatsApp with information on how to get in and collect the key. The hotel is worn but has been superficially renovated, uppl
