"Early check in, friendly staff, modern room, everything works, quiet, no odd smell, great water pressure, comfy bed, safe easy parking, great breakfast selection with a pancake machine. Just a great place! The only thing: the balcony door won’t lock, so we just blocked it with a chair. Still, it’s a 5 star. I recommend this hotel. "

"I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past when going to Pismo. This is the first time I came back after it has been touched up. It is a nice and quiet place to stay, located near highway 1 but you could hardly hear the traffic. Location is a short drive to stores, beach, and pier."

"Sands Inn felt like a nostalgic motel of the 60s, when the world moved a little slower and life is relaxed. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bathroom upgraded and feels brand new. There is parking in front of your room which made it convenient since we had heavy luggage. Breakfast if offered as early has 7:00 am. Just make sure you check your room for the hairdryer if you need one...they were wating for their hairdryers on order. "

"The beach view was beautiful and breathtaking. If you're looking for peace and serenity ✨️ 😌 this is it. The parking lot had construction on the pavement because it was blocked off with a black tarp so we couldn't park next to our room so that was the downside. I think the continental breakfast is made just for kids only not for adults. Not a hearty breakfast just enough to get by."
