「We really enjoyed our brief stay at Elite Venue. The staff were friendly and helpful, every part of the process was very smooth. The highlights were how comfortable the bed was, the spa area and the blackout curtains which were perfect after seeing the new year in all night!」

「There was a plenty of free parking close to the hotel. The hotel could do with some repairs and general tidy up, the overnight price was reasonable so not expecting perfection. Dining options are limited unless you book, we had quite a distance to travel so didn’t want to book and miss the slot. Breakfast service has a good choice but again it’s advisable to book, not quite sure how they cope in the summer months.」

「It was not a very bad hotel but it happened to have some car event outside the hotel at the carpark and so we were not able to get a parking space. And I heard that these events happened all the time so just in case if you are bumping into one of there it’s gonna be a big trouble ( terrible traffic and no parking space till 10pm)」

「There is no obvious signage for drivers to this hotel. The corridors in the hotel are narrowed and it's difficult for 2 people with luggages to walk through. My executive room was spacious and comfortable though. Not enough sockets or USB in the room to charge my phones and ipads. The reception would not add my IHG membership number to my stay, so I think this IHG membership is not worthy to use any more as its staff did not even give any respect to it. 「What a fabulous place to stay. All the little touches to make one feel special. Staff fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Love the colour schemes. All so restful and inviting. Rooms were sparkling and the food quite delicious. Dorking is very lucky to have such a wonderful place to stay/eat and relax 」

「Top quality food. Steak & Ale pie to die for and excellent fish & chips. Great breakfast with quality produce. Brilliant selection of ales. Old fashioned English Inn with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Tidy room with a modern en-suite shower room. Bed not to our liking but that's very much a personal choice. In a very quiet location with no shops nearby but would recommend for an overnight stay.」

「Had a brilliant stay at The Blacksmiths Arms! 🏡 From start to finish, the team were so welcoming, and the evening meal was absolutely superb. The room was spotless, comfortable, and I had a really good night’s sleep. The complimentary breakfast was lovely — I was very tempted by the cooked option, but time wasn’t on my side this morning! ⏰🍳 As a solo female traveller with a dog, this has been one of my best stays yet. 「We checked in after midnight as we need to stay for one night before return home. Check in process was efficient and took only a few minutes. Reception lady was courteous and efficient. Would certainly stay again if needed in future.」
