「only stayed one night whilst visiting a friend locally. really impressed with friendly staff. spacious venue. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely. Bar manager was very sociable for after dinner drinks. Room was a very good size with large ensuite with bath and separate shower. Bed super comfy. Small negatives were no milk on the hot drink tray. Impressive cobweb in bathroom and some damage to wallpaper and rug. None of which detracted from a great stay. Would easily recommend to...

「I booked this for my family during my wedding and wow is all i can say. The soace was stunning and Harriet and Giles just could not do enough for us. I was blown away by theirckindness and generosity. To the point at which they let us put my wedding cake in the fridge. Honestly the best hosts ive ever had. Thanks so much guys i know it trueky meant the world to my mum. 」

If you want a check in with minimal contact this is a great way to do it. The venue is also great if visiting people at the hospital and the university. It is so close by. 「The room was spotless, as was the entire hotel. All staff were very good as well. One small gripe, there was a booklet in the room about the Bell Inn, sadly the cover was sticky! But this did not detract from a very pleasant stay. 」
