Awesome stay!

The apartment is about a 10 min walk from the main touristy area. There’s an awesome restaurant/cafe down the street called Suribachi that offers tons of vegan options and a vegan bakery called Odete very close by as well. Lidl also happens to be around the block. Beatriz was nothing but helpful and attentive. She helped carry our super heavy luggage up the stairs which she didn’t have to do but insisted and anytime we had any questions, she responded within a few minutes. The apartment had everything we needed and was so cute! Overall highly recommend and would 100% stay here again.

Had a great stay, Beatriz was extremely helpful in every aspect and even gave us a detailed map with food and sightseeing recommendations. Accommodations were very clean, comfortable and spacious, and within walking distance to train stations and sights. Highly recommended!

Beatriz was a great host. She was always available to answer all of our questions. The apartment was very nice but lacked a few things in the kitchen like spatulas, wooden cooking spoons, good cutting knives. This place was quiet and very well located near the metro and bus services!

The owner, Beatriz, was a joy to deal with. She helped a ton throughout my stay and the property was very comfortable and quiet. This property is a great pick if you want an area that's close to the downtown area without being in the heart of it. Highly recommend Pause Apartments.

The property was a bit away from the downtown area with the most restaurants and cultural landmarks, but it was easy to walk there. Fairly quiet at night and close to a metro station. Beatriz, who received when we arrived took the time to note things to see/visit and restaurants to eat at on a map.

I truly enjoyed visiting Porto largely due to the stay at Pause apartment made it easy with its amenities and location. There is plenty of space with seating area for you to lounge or to have breakfast and coffee with your family before your adventures in Porto. Marina was very helpful in giving us the overall idea of Porto with where to visit, dining options and more. When I visit Porto will definitely stay at Pause apartments again.

Gorgeous wee apartment

Perfect place to stay in Porto. Not far from the main metro station, Trinidade, approximately 20 minute walk. We were welcomed by Gil who gave us lots of great advice on how to make the most of stay. Lots of bakeries, restaurants and a Lidl right around the corner. A hidden gem! Definitely will be back!

Porto in October

We stayed five nights at this nice and quiet place. Apartment was clean and spacious. Patio was fun as the days were warm and we ate breakfasts outside. Nearby there are grocery store and bakery. Area was peaceful a bit outside of old town but everything is within reach.

Lovely clean apartment with a modern feel. All the amenities we needed as a couple on a short city break. Beatriz went above and beyond, giving us recommendations for things to try and places to visit. Was easy to get hold of and nothing to was too much of an ask. Would definitely recommend Pause for a short stay.

The Pause apartments are in a very central location. The hosts, Beatriz and Gil were wonderful. They were very responsive to all of our needs and allowed us to store our luggage on the last day while we went on a tour. I will say that our place was a bit noisy early in the morning, once for an alarm that was going off and the second sounded like some construction (constant hammering starting at 7 am). Otherwise it was a good stay.
