"Breakfast setup was well organized. Real plates & cups were an extra nice touch. The food and variety was great. No complaints. No shuttle on Sunday or Monday was disappointing, and seemed staffing on those days were minimal as well. A lot of waiting for someone to come to the front desk. Our sofa bed was badly stained and the tv wouldn’t allow access to Netflix even though it was advertised as available. When I asked about it I was told to go to ch# 2. No such channel…."

"There was noticeable vacuuming needed at the lobby stairs and on the 2nd floor hallways. The door on our room (227) was very difficult to open. An elderly person would not have been able to push the door handle down. The room was large and spacious. The beds were obviously aged and “bouncy”. The TV (LG) was small and ancient. It was not a smart TV and the resolution was awful. The bedding was fine. The in room AC was loud and interrupted sleep when it turned on and off. The bathroom was aged but clean. The breakfast was probably the best part. Overall, we disappointed in the stay."

"Do not stay here... Black mold everywhere. When I brought it up to the front desk they didn't seem surprised or seem to care the health implications of mold exposure. I doubt they even clean it up. If it was in my room it was elsewhere as well. It looks like they attempted to wipe it off, but not actually clean it."

"The room was clean and staff were all courteous. We stayed on the first floor which is a first for me. It was a little noisy given that the parking lot was right outside my window, the ice machine was one door away, and I could hear the people on the 2nd floor so I wouldn't recommend it. The room was clean but there was dehumidifier running in the hallway and the room had a bit of an old smell. You can tell it's an old property that they threw some paint and new fixtures in. The breakfast was good and fresh. It was comparable to your typical continental breakfast. It's in a good location basically across from the Opryland Hotel. Overall, not a bad place to stay but I am unlikely to stay here again."

"I reserved a suite room and when I checked in I was informed that no more suites were available and that I would be put in a regular room. This sleeping arrangement was not going to work for the group I was traveling with, we were counting on having two beds and a pull out couch. The staff was unhelpful in trying to find a solution. They did not offer any alternatives, in fact I had to ask whether they could provide a roll away cot, a second room I could reserve, etc. The staff did not offer up these options or even explain that they were not available. They didn't even apologize for the inconvenience, just a flat out "No we do not have the room you reserved." We were traveling with a sports group and I heard similar stories about room types not available from several other hotel guests. Beyond this, the AC units in the room were TERRIBLE. There was no way to control the fan and every time the AC kicked on, it sounded like a jet engine taking off. It was impossible to sleep with the unit cycling on and off, so eventually we turned the entire thing off overnight. And then after ours was off, I could hear the unit next door cycling on and off. Two very bad nights of sleep, breakfast staff was under-prepared even though they knew the hotel was fully booked."
