We were very disappointed that we could not get transportation back to the airport. Although a free airport shuttle was advertised (without limitations) we were told the shuttle only ran from 8am to 8pm leaving us scrambling for our early morning flight. It cost us $19 to uber back to airport which we expect Laquinta to reimburse.

The afternoon desk clerk was not helpful. I asked for handicap room, he looked seemed to find one, then said he could not give it to me, third party booking. Asked for quiete room and I got put next to the elevator. The AC was loud, there holes in the shade. The was no mattress protector - gross! And we were charged for parking in an open lot which was not disclosed.

It was a nice place but it looked like our room was not vacuumed prior to our arrival. The breakfast was the worst one we've ever had at a hotel. I don't think the scrambled eggs were even real. Otherwise it was good. The staff was friendly.

Good walking distance from everything (if the weather isn't bad, otherwise it can feel like a trek). Only flag: the room wasn't very clean. Clumps of hair on the floor. Dirty towels. The floor in the bathroom needs a good scrub.

The property was nice. The room was clean and the check in and check out was excellent. The breakfast was not very good. A lot of items were not being replaced and the trash was overflowing. The man working the buffet area had a lousy work ethic. The manger and other employees has to assist in restocking items and taking out the trash.

Property was newly renovated within the last 5-6 years according to staff. It was modern and the staff were helpful. At check-in they levied a $10 ‘parking fee’ when there was plenty of parking and it was not in an area of the city where I could understand it being an issue to park. This was hidden fee at checkin and when I questioned it, I was told it is because there is a ballpark in close proximity and people come and poach their parking spaces to park for free and walk to the ballgame. Why charge your paying customers an additional fee when they should go after the illegal Parkers and have them towed away or at least let customers know they will be charged a parking fee or wrap it into the cost of the room. Other than that and the room key cards seemed to have severe issues and needed to be reprogrammed a couple of times during an overnight stay, the staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was clean and modern.

It was a very nice hotel and easy on/off from the highway but was very busy and traveling with a dog made it tough to relax because there was just so much noise and it made her anxious. By ourselves it may not have been as bad. But it was not quiet
