「Erg plezierig dat dit hotel zo ontzettend dicht bij de Basilica San Francesco ligt. Zo kon ik daar, nog voor het ontbijt, een kerkdienst meemaken in de benedenkerk, iets wat een grote indruk op mij heeft gemaakt.」

「La cosa peggiore è stata la scarsa cura dell’igiene, praticamente pulizia zero… oltre al fatto che non c’è stato alcun interesse da parte della struttura verso gli ospiti, la camera era sporca, piena di polvere, con lenzuola e coperta sporca… mancavano sia shampoo che bagnoschiuma e gli asciugamani erano sporchi con capelli all’interno 」

La struttura ha sicuramente del potenziale, ma al momento della mia visita diversi servizi non erano ancora disponibili a causa di lavori di ristrutturazione: solarium e piscina, ad esempio, non erano funzionanti, cosa che incide sull’esperienza complessiva, soprattutto se ci si aspetta di poter usufruire di questi spazi. 「Wir kommen schon seit mehreren Jahren und sind grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden. Wir beobachten aber, dass einige Dinge Instandgesetzt werden könnten (Lichter, Pergola, Kühlschrank…). Auch könnte am Pool ein etwas besserer Service sein (Matten auflegen, Schirme aufspannen, Handtücher wegräumen).」

But if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable and friendly spot— you’ll be happy! We had a balcony attached to our room and sat out there looking down on the town and valley below. 「Excellent Hosts. They did not speak much English which we actually enjoyed as my wife got to try out her Italian. It is a little slice of heaven tucked into the Hillside of Umbria. Lots of extras and the pool was magnificent! If there was ever any stress…Relax Cottage! 」

「The pictures painted a little bit different picture than we experienced. The room was clean, but run down furniture and the light switch next to the bed was being held by tape, the couch was in rough shape. The worst part though was the bathroom. The shower had mold all over it including the pull string was nearly black from moisture. It was very off puttingnd felt like I could not take a shower there. The check in was also frustrating because no one was there (as was explained ahead of time so...

「Lovely upscale property with beautiful view of Assisi. Walkable to town but a bit uphill. Gracious staff. Very comfortable bed and grounds are really lovely with roses and an organic garden. Bar area is great with Martin and Greta. Enjoyed immensely 」

「This is a gem in Assisi. I stayed here for one night before checking into another place in the historical town centre. The resort is super clean and quiet which allows you to relax as the town centre can sometimes be crowded with tour groups. There is a sauna in the room, also the view from the hotel is magnificent where you can see the panoramic view of the whole historical centre of Assisi.
