「We had a balcony directly facing the beach. It was gorgeous and the hotel was lovely, but they are still having some construction so we were woken up by the sound of a drill at 8 am. 」

It would have been even better if greater attention had been given to environmental sustainability—for example, providing recycling options in the rooms and avoiding plastic straws, cups, and cutlery at the pool restaurant. Sanibel Island is a beautiful and fragile environment that deserves to be protected.」
