"Breakfast fare / spread was excellent. This is a lovely hotel w very efficient staff manning the front office and kitchen.
However, the downsides: no kitchen for lunch or dinner. The eateries and shops are far away, although there is one eatery quite nearby, requiring one to walk out a bit. So, if one is ok w walking for quite a distance ( like me, ok, but it was cold outside!) or one has a car/ transport, this is indeed the right place.
For me, despite the cold, I enjoyed the long walk on cobbled pavements, and the very courteous and super efficient young crew manning the front office and kitchen. Crew members like Jaoa ( from front office, and anor João ( kitchen), Stephanie, Lina, Daniela need special mention. They were all extremely helpful in so many ways incl directions.
I will surely return on a repeat visit- soon. "

"I was very pleased with the welcome I received when checking in and was pleased with the very good cleanliness of my single room upon entering. The beds in this hotel are very comfortable and the bathrooms are very modern (for example, my bathroom had a large shower and even a bidet. The best part of this hotel is the value as I only paid 77 euros for 1 night for room."
