「Das Zimmer war leider nicht besonders sauber, im Kühlschrank fanden wir noch verschimmeltes Obst von den letzten Gästen. Bei fünf Übernachtungen erhielten wir trotz schriftlicher und anschließend persönlicher Nachfrage nicht einmal frische Handtücher. Das Room-Service-Schild wurde einfach nur wieder ins Zimmer gehängt. Das angepriesene reichhaltige kontinentale Frühstück ließ leider auch zu wünschen übrig. Geringe Auswahl, und diese der Optik nach auch von gestern. Das Haus an sich ist schön,...

「It was a bit noisy at night time, but that just added to the lively atmosphere! The ladies chatted all night till 3am - no soundproof walls. Unfortunately, the linens weren't quite ready when we checked in, but maybe the laundry facility was just a bit behind schedule. Despite that, the place was clean. The breakfast was good, and the front desk staff were absolutely fantastic!」

「Un endroit exceptionnel ! J'ai adoré mon séjour et je réserverai de nouveau. C'est l'emplacement idéal : tout près de l'océan et à distance raisonnable du centre historique de Porto. C'est même agréable d'y aller à pied si vous aimez les longues promenades au bord du Douro pour croiser les Portuans qui vivent et profitent de leur ville (et pas seulement des touristes !). Le matin sous la brume, le spectacle est tout simplement magnifique.」

This place is luxurious! From the marble shower, dreamy comfy beds, and spiralling staircases, we felt so spoiled. The daily breakfast was incredible, featuring local jams, breads, and chef's creations, and a wonderful way to start our day.」
