Small town hotel room for hiking adventures. Was perfect. Had all the essentials and more. Would stay again, walking distance to restaurants/wharf area.
I accidentally booked the wrong day but the staff were able to accommodate me and handled it so well. This isn't the fanciest place, but it has a great location for visiting Olympic National Park

Room was outdated with old worn furniture. Bed was comfortable.
Room was nice and clean for the family. Staff was helpful. Office closed early but they leave the key out. Near to stores and restaurant. Within minutes to Mt Rainier visitor center. This is one of the best place if want to explore Mt Rainier area. Microwave and mini fridge is a big plus. Stayed with family for 2 nights and happy to stay again.

I liked that it was very close to the port. We walked to dinner, the ferry and shops.
Hotel is rundown. Room was dusty/dirty. Rip in the couch, holes in the bathroom door. Sink was moldy. Our particular room was right next to the check-in and you could hear them checking in people. The staff was super friendly though. And it is a great location.
Excellent air conditioning, very nice spacious bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. For the most part it was a great experience and the staff was very helpful and attentive. The only things were that there was a slow drain in the bathroom sink that was caused by a bunch of hair that was never cleaned out. There was also definitely an ant problem, mostly confined to the bathtub drain. But I don't hold it against the motel too much, as at this time of year in Port Angeles, that seemed to be a widespread thing. Also the tv was not great and had a permanent vertical line stuck on the screen. You just have to know what you're there for. If it's for the beauty of the area as we were and you're just looking for a clean (all but the drain) comfortable home base and you have your meals planned out and/or plan to just eat out (there is a fridge and microwave but no other real means to cook or prepare food), then it's a really great, reasonable place to stay. And we would gladly stay there again under the same criteria
THE worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed and extremely disappointed with the price I paid. My family and I stayed at Royal Victorian for 3 nights while visiting Olympic National Park. 1st, it’s not cleaned. 2nd, bathroom door can’t shut completely. 3rd microwave is broken. 4th, worn out furniture, 5th, spider web 🕸️ on most of our ceiling. 6th, TV has a line on the screen. 7th, it smells moldy and damp….my list can keep on going. But you get it. One good thing to mention…The front desk lady is nice and helpful.
You get more than what you pay for.
My expectations were low when I booked the motel but the rooms are well kept, all basic amenities fully stocked, good location.

Disliked: Amenities
The mattress was comfortable and there was hot water for the shower. The location was good to see the national park.
However, there was no coffee pot in the room and when asked about it, the front desk was supposed to bring it, but never did. The light on the night stand wasn’t working and neither was the outlet. There was also a pair of socks left behind from a prior guest behind a chair.
Nice surprise overall; clean and safe. Quiet except regular traffic noises. Convenient location. Couple interactions with staff were bit lacking in terms of customer service and pretty tight parking lot.

Staff were wonderful during check in! The room is definitely dated, could use new comforters and our tv didn’t work during our stay! But definitely worth the price
Parking and location were great. This place has potential, just needs some love. Looks like they are working on it. The bed was very comfortable and AC and WiFi worked well. No bad odors or anything and the outdoor areas are clean. However the curtain was torn and let light through, the carpet and floors/grout were dirty so that we did not go barefoot inside. That said, we did not complain as we were only there at night to sleep. Mgmt was nice enough to lend us a patio chair so hubby could sit outside for smoke. Like I said just needs some love, and new curtains. Try the nearby Cloudy Bay Bakery for delish donuts and coffee.

I needed an afordable clean, safe, last minute stay when I had to stay in town to help a sick relative. The staff were friendly and caring, and I had everything I needed. The road noise might have bothered me, but I sleep with earplugs no matter where I sleep, so I was fine.
