「We were very happy with our stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this stay. The main town center 5 minutes walk to restaurants, shops, and the riverside. There is also a walkway that leads down to the river mouth, about a 20-minute walk. It's beautiful.」

「We've stayed at whakatane riverside holiday park a few times, but the cleanliness of this cabin was pretty poor, Cobb webbs and dust and looks dated.」

「The partial view from unit 1 could only be seen if you stood in the right position outside on the balcony and then you could just see some ocean. The apartment had all the facilities, however it is getting a little dated and in need of maintenance. The fans had dust on top and the bedroom fan control knob was broken and difficult to turn without it.」

「Stay was comfortable. The bathrooms were separate from the cabin and this was a bit of an issue for us. We traveled from overseas, and are not familiar with the setup of holiday parks. Online they do not mention that bathrooms are outside and shared. Overall, it was comfortable.」
