"I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. ..."

For one night it was fine

"Bed was squeaky, no water pressure for the shower. Had to hold in hand to wash properly. Bathroom requires upgrade. Breakfast was very good and staff very friendly. Surroundings lovely."

"Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Avoid and just go to the Premier down the road!

"First off when arriving at the property there was no onsite parking as advertised, there was parking to the rear which you would think were for there but was told it was private and was not anything to do with the property and told there was small parking bays just up from the front of the property ..."
