「We loved sitting in on porch watching fireflies. Beautifully and historically decorated. Bed so comfortable in large and beautiful room. Wonderful breakfast. 」

「The only thing we didn't like was waiting over 20 minutes to check in. It was around midnight and we were tired and two other customers were ahead of us. It seemed to take the attendant a long time to check in the first person in line. Other than the initial wait, everything was great.」

「The temple Hotel Nauvoo was so pretty. I loved it and enjoyed staying there. We were on the 3rd floor. No elevator, but we survived. We got excercise going up and down the stairs. I felt like i had walked back into time. The furniture was similar to the style of the 1800s 」

「Near highway, but couldn’t hear it at all. Luckily we were on this end of Ft Madison as the Mississippi bridge was closed and we had to go through Keokuk to get to Illinois. Nice hotel with very friendly staff. 」

「Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. We went to dinner & came back to a clean room. We really didn't like the shower, the curtain sticks to your body no matter...

「The hotel was clean and nice. Our rooms were ready a little early. Staff was nice. I really enjoyed the lady that worked at the breakfast that was from over the river in Hamilton. She was such a great friendly worker. You should be proud of her, went out of her way above and beyond to take care of my daughter-in-law‘s baby and make coffee for her! What an excellent worker! I wish I could remember her name. I hope you know who I mean when I say she was a bubbly blonde with the accent.」

「The room and bathroom were very clean. (There was some black mildew/mold around the caulking of the bathtub, but not a lot; a spray of bleach would have taken care of it.) The carpet appeared to be new. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. 」

「The manager, (Meena?) was wonderful. I came in after a funeral and she sympathized. She helped me with my cell phone settings. The next moring I fell and hit my forehead and she gave me ice and a washcloth, encouraged me to stay longer, even called me later in the day to see if I was OK. I felt very well cared for. And the place was perfect. 」
