「To sum it up: perfect stay. Our house was clean, comfy and the pool a delight. Our host took very good care on us and the first breakfast was included rounding up our vacation. There was some confusing on our behalf, since Expedia noted to get a mail prior to our arrival for access - then we learned that our host is on site already.」

「Our hosts Fatima and George were the best hosts we have ever had in many VRBO experiences. There was a fresh baked cake, basket of cheese, basket of fruit, basket of bread/biscuits and a bottle of wine waiting on the dining room table when we arrived. The patio off of the house was a fantastic private setting for evening wine and cheese. The old basalt cottage was impeccable, it looked brand new as if we were the first to occupy!」

The hostes is extremely nice and you'll feel at ease, like you know her for a long time. She gave us a map with the main attractions and restaurants. All the restaurants she listed were spor on. The room is very spacious, and has great amenities. With a full kitchen. It's in a good location 5 minutes form Madalena. Don't think you can't get much better than this.」

「Beautiful hostel, felt a like a hotel (just with bunk beds). Rooms had nice beds with linen, two pillows and two towels. Bathroom had great water pressure and each bed has their own shampoo/conditioner/soap which was very nice. Tap entry keys to main door and room doors felt safe, closets with key locks were a good size. 」

「It is a famil, running guesthouse. There is a very nice view of the ocean and Mt. Pico. The stuff is exttemly friendly and always prepared to help you. They are very helpful with advice. They alsk offer transfer. I would definitely stay here again.」
