Superb adaptation of an old monastery, rooms are clean and the bathroom is spacious. They could easily upgrade from just being a youth hostel

You get what you pay for

Pros: nice location and building, sea view, clean rooms, a lot of parking space Cons: unpleasant showers and toilets (lights broken, hot water not always working, shower holders broken etc.), poor soundproofing It was nice that the breakfast included even thought the breakfast was very simple

Place is pretty beat up and could use some maintenence for sure. Oh, and the fire alarm was going off for a solid 3 hours in the middle of the night which made it pretty tough to sleep. Otherwise not too shabby.

Good for price but faults

Fine. Good for the price. Bathroom was not very well kept. Bins didn’t work. Lock on bathroom stalls didn’t work. Soap dispensers with no soap. Water all over the floor that was never cleaned up. Cannot really complain for the price though.

le site est particulièrement atypique, mais c'est ce qui fait tout son charme. En rapport au prox, c'est imbattable, bien qu'il faille partager la salle de bains Le personnel est charment et disponible même pour une arrivée tardive, et propose spontanément des visites à faire. N'hésitez pas. Pour le petit dej, ce n'est pas la classe internationale mais on boit, on mange, suffsamment et de bonne qualité. Juste ce qu'il faut, sans chichis

Ottimo posto nella tranquillità di un ex monastero

Il posto e bellissimo e silenzioso con una vista sul mare a due passi. Le camere sono basiche ma ordinate e pulite. Il bagno rilascia però un po' di odore di fogna....ma nel complesso e un posto accogliente e affascinante.

Tolles historisches Gebäude mit Flair. Wer auf Authentisches auf den Azoren Wert legt, ist hier richtig. Hatten ein Zweibettzimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad und uns wohl gefühlt. Frühstück ist spartanisch, so wie es eben auf den Azoren genommen wird, dafür ist es inklusive. Die zum ehemaligen Kloster gehörige Kirche wird nur zum Gottesdienst geöffnet, ist sehenswert.

Basic en ongezellig

Karig uitgeruste kamer, allemaal nogal gedateerd. Wel redelijk schoon. De jeugdherberg heeft verder nagenoeg geen sociale voorzieningen voor gasten: geen gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimtes, geen keuken waar gebruik van kan worden gemaakt. Het ontbijt dat bij de overnachting is inbegrepen kan eigenlijk beter overgeslagen worden. Koffie en 'sap' uit een automaat die niet te drinken is. Maximaal 2 broodjes per gast en alleen dunne plakjes kaas of ham als beleg. Receptionisten doorgaans wel vriendelijk.

Era solo una tappa di passaggio, fra un volo aereo e un traghetto. Andava quindi benissimo. Struttura molto bella, camere ricavate in un convento di inizio '700. Colazione basica.

Affasciante il convento

Sicuramente affascinante dormire in un ex convento ma le camere doppie sono piuttosto spartane con bagno un pò vecchio (però c'è il bidet, piuttosto importante per noi italiani). La colazione si fa nel refettorio ed è poco invitante ma comunque c'è tutto (pane, marmellata, formaggio esame, prosciutto, latte, caffè , the , cacao in polvere, corn flakes, succo di arancia confezionato). Non abbiamo provato il wifi perchè presente solo nelle zone comuni. Va più che bene per una o due notti. Parcheggio gratuito davanti all'hotel. Situato a 15 minuti a piedi dal porto di Sao Roque

Wir hatten ein Zimmer für zwei Personen mit eigenem Bad. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren gut und sehr sauber. Das Gebäude - ein ehemaliges Kloster - ist etwas Besonderes und hat uns gefallen. Einzig das Frühstück war nicht so gut (kein frisches Obst, Kaffee nicht wirklich heiß, nicht so guter Käse wie anderswo) - da hatten wir in billigeren Unterkünften auf den Azoren eine bessere Qualität.
