Worth the effort to find
It was hard to find as the sat nav did not locate the street name but the effort of finding was soon forgotten as the hotel was good and a place that is great to visit.

Clean and safe hotel
This was our first hotel night since the lockdown is over and the borders are opened. We were quite nervous about staying in a hotel. But once we checked in, the procedures for everyone's safety were in place and the room was very clean, we felt comfortable. The check in was smooth and friendly. The young girl at the reception even called up the restaurant and helped us book a table in Pontalier.

Ideal
A typical modern hotel. Might seem a bit lacking in character for some and it's situated in a commercial area and not in the centre of town. But it was clean, well appointed, the staff were helpful, the breakfast was fine, parking was safe and secure for the motorbikes and there were places to eat nearby. I'd certainly stay here again.

Great Comfortable Stay
Located near the airport so having a car to get there is necessary. Hotel is very new and in great condition. Our room was very clean, comfortable beds, slept well and very quiet with no outside noise. Good shower, WiFi worked very well and the paid breakfast was very good. The hotel personnel was very nice and helpful. There are 3 restaurants nearby and 2 of them are next to the hotel. We ate dinner at the restaurant Courtepaille. The entrecote(steak) was horrible (had gristle, fat and was tough). We would stay again at this hotel, when in the area.

This is at the top end of the budget hotel range.
Excellent location, 15 minutes walk to the town but that was welcome after a long drive, however there are 2 chain restaurants nearby.

What a surprise
Although I'd already read great reviews when researching the area, I drove right past the Kyriad as there was really nothing enticing about its location. Eventually, I made a last minute reservation based upon the combination of good reviews and the low price. It was absolutely faultless. Very new, extremely clean, modern, comfortable and spacious. The reception was also great. There is no in-house restaurant and the dining choices are limited. There is a Courtpaille and a pizza restaurant next door but we took the 5 minute stroll to the busy Buffalo Grill. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again tge next time I'm in the area and will probably even seek the place out. It is likely the best value stay that I have had anywhere.

Good stay.
Good value for the money. Very courteous staff. Kitchenet with drive etc. Doors from bathroom open against door to toilet room and bang on each other.

Excellent séjour à l'hotel Kyriad de Pontarlier
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à l’hôtel Kyriad , le personnel est sympathique la literie est excellente , le petit déjeuner très copieux , seul bémol : l'absence d'un petit radiateur dans la salle d'eau . Nous recommandons fortement cet hôtel .

Hôtel dans une zone commerciale, bien accessible, bon parking, plutôt moderne, insonorisation correct malgré la proche route. Ascenseur, bon petit déjeuner. Seul bémol = une grosse araignée juste suspendue devant la télé et son logement de plusieurs jours dans un coin au-dessus de l'espace bouilloire, dommage que le personnel d'entretien ne lève pas la tête plus souvent. Mais dans l'ensemble 16/20
