" Great location. Hotel is in the front of the
beach
and easy access to Sri Aurobindo ashram. Staff are really good and as soon as you request for something and it gets done. Welcoming guests was good. Room was not so great although they say hotel maintains heritage but hotel room requiring updating. Room facing street food at the back is quite noisy and smelly and can't keep windows open. We had few other issues for e.g. there was no locker in the room, balcony was broken and unsafe. Next day...

"A reasonable hotel in a good spot outside of the French Quarter. Food in the restaurant was good, room a little tired. The bar needs daylight not neon lighting, and so much more could be made of the rooftop pool. A reasonable pool was an absolute must for us, otherwise we would have stayed in the French Quarter - although the promenade really isn't anything to write home about."
