Séjour agréable.

Manquait un peu d'entretien autour de la piscine, les déjeuners étaient copieux et variés la qualité des dîners étaient variables. Personnel gentils et intentionnés. Bonne situation pour visiter les principaux attraits touristiques. Quelques restos à proximité. L'entretient paysager effectué a des moments inappropriés. Victime d'un over booking nous avons due changer de chambre durant notre séjour. Les chambres sont propres.

Mysigt ställe med mycket härlig personal

Otroligt mysigt ställe med väldigt vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Rummen är okej. Vi hade äran att 2a natten få bo i deras sprillans nya rum. Mysig omgivning och en härlig pool!

Relaxed and welcoming - very enjoyable stay!

The staff at Tishan were extremely friendly and welcoming. The property is a good location for the ruins and we were able to hire bikes from the resort. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon by the pool and the food was delicious. We had a lovely stay at Tishan Resort- thank you!

Best stay of our holiday! A must :)

This was our best stay of our entire 3 week staff trip. The family managing the place and the staff were sooo adorable. The food was also the best we had with a spécial mention to the breakfast and the house rice and curry! The nice (and very clean) pool and the low price made it all perfect.

Hot, far from the city

Wifi spotty (no signal in room). No food closeby. Far from the city (need to take a tuk tuk). Bedsheets not quite clean. The staff was friendly. The pool was large and clean. The room was very hot (in October) with just a weak fan.

Far from anything, hot rooms

I went to Tishan because of the good reviews. Mistake. + The pool is indeed nice and clean. Breakfast is excellent, both Sri Lankan and Western choices. The staff are friendly (the owners not so). - The hotel is far from town. There are no restaurants in the area (and the resort has only very limited menu). The wifi does not work in the rooms (only around the reception area). If you sit there, the mosquitos will eat you. The bed sheets are not clean (unindetified stains). Room is very hot despite the ceiling fan making it difficult to sleep. There is TV in the room, but only 1 local channel working.

Lovely relaxing stay

We had a lovely stay in Tishan resort. The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was the best we had in our whole trip! It is situated a little out of town but very easy and cheap to get a Tuktuk.

Lovely boutique hotel, excellent meals

Loved our stay at Tishan, staff are lovely and recommended elephant safari which was fantastic. The meals are superb Sri Lanka. style, the gardens and quiet coutryside views are superb, so is the pool. The bedroom however was far too hot, unless you paid $10 per night for the use of aircon. Our onward transfer was well overpriced at 5000 to sigiriya, but as it was new year we had no choice. We did not use bicycles at this location. The bathroom was a let down, with black mould on the shower curtain, and the bedroom curtain was also very dirty.Wifi was restricted to only reception area. These three factors are what stops me giving excellent throughout. More attention to cleanliness in bedroom and bathroom is required.
