「View is nice, bed is comfortable, although there were bugs season according to the manager, lots of bugs tried to get inside , but the room is very clean, the lady hotel manager was very friendly and politely welcome us every time we backed to the hotel ,neighborhood is so quiet and can do running/walking along a river. Enjoyed.」
「Great hotel in the centre of Cognac, easy walking to all the main sites and large Cognac houses. We parked in a free parking less than 5 mins walk away for 2 days. Would stay here again if in the area.」
「The property is great and very interesting. There are no elevators to the 2nd floor, so if you have a big suitcase, you'll need to drag it up and down the stairs. The room was nice, but it smelled like mold. The bathroom shower did not have a separator, so the water goes everywhere. 「Charming hotel in beautiful location. Staff was great. When we checked in I asked about gluten free bread at breakfast. When we came down the next morning the staff member said, “Your gluten free bread is in the oven, only 5 or 10 minutes until it’s done. Room and bed were very nice. Great walk in shower. If we stop in Angoulême again I’d definitely choose the Hotel des Arts!」
