"Excellent location, just a short walk to downtown Palm Springs. Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice room and great pool area, with drink service - which was awesome. The pool gets a bit crowded, as it's large... but not huge for those big warm weather crowds. Three gripes ... The first being the most annoying by far - the WiFi was abysmal. Only worked on n off during our 3 days there, and when it was working, it was spotty and unreliable. I had to go out to my car to get a cell signal and get on a meeting with personal hot spot. The second, very minor, gripe is that the chairs on the room balcony were so terribly uncomfortable, that they were just about unusable for more than a few minutes. Third, the pool area was absolutely littered with old drink containers and trash every morning, obviously left over from guests from the night before - but that's more on the guests than the hotel staff. But that's all, overall very nice place. "

"The best thing about this hotel is its location. Right in the middle of all of the Palm Springs downtown attractions. The common areas are attactive with the navy blue and white decor. The pool area is quite nice and relaxing. Our room was right beside the reception / breakfast / restaurant area. While convenient, the room itself was rather small and very dark and when we opened the door we felt like everyone who was in the lobby or going to breakfast was right on top of us. It also was a little musty smelling until we got the AC working. I think many of the other rooms looked nicer and larger, although some were also dark. The couple we were traveling with stayed in a much larger room, but their AC went out on the third day and they spent two miserable nights until they got a new room. Also, the breakfast, which was included, was OK but the same limited options were offered every day. Each room does have interesting decorations, includinge bookshelves, books, knick-knacks, and a fully stocked mini-fridge and mini-bar with items for purchase. There is NO TV in the room or anywhere on the property. We had lunch there and it was very good. If we go back, we probably would try another place. But this one I would rate a solid B+ overall."

"The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and the balcony was nice, even though there was chipping paint on the floor. The pool was good altough the bar service was not operating. In fact, the bar was not staffed during the day which was an inconvenience while at the pool. The location is perfect. The shuttle service was an added plus. "

"The view was great, the room was very clean and nice. The staff were nice, but seemed untrained and completely unaware. One wait staff stopped everything to hunt for his cell phone (he was starting to make a drink at the time). We saw Easter brunch signs, so asked staff in the restaurant and they didn’t know when it started or if we needed reservations and neither did the front desk. At the bar someone may or may not serve you. The umbrellas at the pool kept falling over and were really heavy (one hit someone) We told one of the staff and she said, “and did you see how many towels people are using?”. They weren’t rude or not nice, it was kinda weird."
