「Le Maitre has very welcoming and helpful owners who run a spacious and comfortable property in a quiet part of Southport - yet it's only a couple of minutes walk from Lord Street.」

「The inside of the hotel is far nicer than it looks from the outside. We booked a dog friendly family room. The room was clean, the beds comfy. The bathroom was well fitted and the shower was really poweful, which was pleasing. Overall very happy. The breakfast was quite nice, with good quality ingredients. Two 'even better if' s'. 1) The coffee in the morning was not good. It was dispensed out of a big urn. Not great quality/choice and not hot. 2) squeeky floorboards. I would stay there again. 」

「Everything was excellent. There was one issue with a noisy water pump that was fixed promptly as soon as we brought it to our host's attention. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Southport. Parking would possibly be a little tight if all the spaces were in use and your vehicle was large. Location is good: quiet but within easy walking distance of town. Eateries very close indeed.」

「Josie was very friendly and welcoming. Very attentive and couldnt do enough. We were offered a much needed hot drink on arrival which was brought to our room. Our room was very clean, more than enough tea, coffee etc, it even had dressing gowns. Little touches of Usb points on plugs and even a little chocolate each. We felt veey welcomed.」

「Friendly staff, hotel is showing its age and on need of a little maintence but didn't effect overall experience as I knew what to expect based on the price I paid. Got a little upgrade to the garden facing room which was nice. Breakfast was cooked fresh, little full English with toast available for a supplement of £5. Approx 8 parking spaces, first come first served basis. Nice area with a little bit of a walk 10 -15 mins to the centre. I was only there one night as I was attending a function. I...

「They advise there is a restaurant. But fail to mention in the info that it is closed Monday and Tuesday. Be aware if you book for a Monday and Tuesday stay.」

「The room was nice and clean , not happy about having to try find a cash machine last minute to leave £60 deposit for room, wouldn't let me have the key to use the toilet in my room untl i got the money, no plug in bathroom sink and when i went down to tell woman behind counter i was told no rooms have a plug in the sink,how are you supposed to have a wash a」
