From the pool to the concierge to the bar and restaurants, the staff was wonderful. The resort ambience was very cute and almost storybook like with a “river” running through the middle. Beautifully kept grounds and the constant sound of running water just made for a very peaceful experience.

The property is very well taken care of. The rooms were very big and had proper amenities. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. The property is quiet so if you’re looking for a nice relaxing and quiet atmosphere, this is the place. There weren’t many things happening. The only draw back is the food was not that great. I’ve had better options at other Barceló properties.

The staff were excellent! Overall, property is dated. Room needs improvement. The room we were in was a bit problematic! Sink backup, noisy! There’s a band that starts playing at 9:30 and ends at 11:00pm! We got sick with food poisoning when we ate at the Italian restaurant. Drinks and food were mediocre. Overall, it was not an excellent experience!

Excellent resort. Beautiful beach, great pools, the food and drinks were delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful, the beds were super comfortable and the grounds were meticulous. It would have been nice if the coffee machine in the restaurant by the beach had been turned on and pastries or something available before 7am for us early risers.

Pool area is beautiful and grounds are amazing. Rooms are very nice and clean, beds are very comfortable. Making reservations for early dining is almost impossible, by the time you arrive at the property the only times available for dinner are after 8pm.

The resort was beautiful with the beach just steps away. The room we were assigned was too hot for an American. The air conditioner barely worked and kept the room around 80°. Once we were moved to a new room in a different building things greatly improved. The staff was great when it came to giving us a fan to make it through the night and then moving our re-packed bags while we’re on an adventure in Tulum. I do suggest they get new AC units in the buildings that have issues. Otherwise, the restaurants, bars, pools, rooms, staff, beach, and amenities were amazing!
