After researching and comparing several resorts we decided to celebrate our anniversary at Paradisus La Perla. This resort exceeded our expectations. The resort is sooo beautiful! The rooms are very spacious (we stayed in a junior suite - nature view). Housekeeping was top tier. We never ran out of anything (towels, snacks, mini bar). There was always plenty of activites day and night. The only thing I would give less than 5 stars for is the food - mainly the buffets. Although the food was on a heater, it was still cold (which was very odd). The buffets also centered more around mexican and indian cuisine (I love both). Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and will be looking forward to visiting another one of the Melia properties in the future.

Really great relaxing first time stay in a Reserve Junior Garden Suite adults only section for long weekend. We will be back. Exceptional staff all around with really personalized assistance. Angelo, the Reserve Pool Concierge, went out of his way to make us comfortable and surprised my gf with balloons and cake for her birthday. A true angel! We also felt comfortable there as a lesbian couple, which is rare at a resort! ROOM - large, comfy bed, double headed shower, big bathtub, balcony overlooking pool. Only downside was that closets smelled of mold. The entire grounds is beautifully designed and also maintained some original mangrove habitat. FOOD -lots of dining options, food was good overall but could use more flavor and spice level. Highly recommend scheduling all your dinner reservations when you arrive so you don’t have to bother with it later. BEACH - beautiful with lots of lounge chairs, a bar, towel station and showers. There are some rocks on the ocean floor so suggest bringing water shoes. Paola, Guest Concierge, went above and beyond to help us take advantage of activities like getting couples massages and reserving a beach cabana with grilled seafood for lunch. Franco and Estefania with the Circle member team were also wonderful and really responsive in meeting our needs.

The property is split between family and adults only. The restaurants have below average quality food and you need a reservation. The buffet is above average in food quality but at least you never need to wait. They have a steak restaurant that is not included and way over priced for the food. The spa is great and it includes a sauna and with private pool and jacuzzi. Prices are negotiable $100 person or lower is where you want to be. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. They all want you to have a good time.

Great hotel can have better quality of how they take care of the resort. Some pool bathroom doors were falling apart from the humidity. The wall was chipped in some areas throughout the resort. The floor had a few cracks but nothing overwhelmingly bad. Just for the price and status of the hotel, I figured it would be kept up to date. The service was excellent; the staff made this stay feel great.

The cleaning staff did an exceptional job throughout our stay - everything was thoroughly cleaned, and they even folded and organized our belongings. The only exception was our last full day, when it appeared that only the beds were made. The resort offers many restaurants, but most are only open for dinner, which you need to make a reservation for. During the day, your options are limited to the buffets, the swim-up bars, and the Sante restaurant, which is only available with the "Reserve" package. Overall, the resort feels luxurious and everything was quite good. The staff were excellent for the most part, though we did encounter a select few who were rude and unwelcoming. The biggest downside was inconsistent communication. Different staff members gave us conflicting information about the resort's amenities and "Reserve" benefits, even though a member of our party spoke fluent Spanish. That inconsistency from the staff side is the main reason I'm giving it three stars.

Super beau resort. Service très rapide au lobby à notre arrivé. Très bien entretenu et très propre. Notre chambre était nettoyé 2 fois par jour avec de belles attention comme un panier de fruits, macarons et fraises dans le chocolat. Nourriture excellente et très bon service partout sur le resort sauf au resto Italien. Service très profesionnel au spa, nous avons pris le forfait massage de couple avec hydrotherapie. J'y retournerais sans hésiter!

Wow - this resort is absolutely incredible. It truly exceeded our experiences. The level of service, care and attention to detail is something else. Not only were we upgraded to a beautiful master suite but the staff remembered special events like my boyfriends birthday and surprised us with champagne and dessert - shoutout to Arturo for remembering this detail on a conversation we had on the beach on day 1. He is an amazing member of your team and we want to thank him for this special gesture. Alan at the front desk was also great, so friendly and professional. Sofia our house keeper was extraordinary. All the bartenders were amazing - Alfonso made the best drinks and always made us smile. Usually the food at resorts is the missing piece but the food here was so delicious and restaurant quality. Our favorite restaurants were The Asian (sushi and Hibachi) and Lemon fish (seafood). The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The only downside was the seaweed this time of year but this is all across Cancun. We had the best time and we can’t wait to return. Thank you for the best holiday. -Emma and Will 💗

My husband and I had an AMAZING time at La Perla! The Reserve was absolutely worth it — every staff member made us feel special every single day, especially while celebrating my husband’s birthday. A heartfelt thank you to Eduardo, our Concierge at The Reserve, for taking such great care of us. Ariadna at Sante and Yusmara at the Reserve pool provided wonderful service, and Yasuky at the Fahrenheit Bar always created a great atmosphere. Alejandro, concierge at the timeshare, was also very helpful throughout our stay. Raquel, the hostess, and Hazier at Sal Steak House made our dining experiences memorable. At the Spa, Wendy, Isabella, and Ruby gave us a relaxing and rejuvenating experience we truly enjoyed. Special thanks as well to Angelo at the Reserve towel booth for his kindness and attention. We also attended the Reserve presentation with Carlos, and it was completely hassle-free — it literally took only 40 minutes! We even received a free massage, and we would definitely recommend this presentation to anyone. Make sure to ask for Alejandro! We truly felt welcomed and celebrated the entire trip. We can’t wait to come back!!
