The bed was so very comfortable and the room perfectly clean and equipped for comfort. The place felt like home away from home, as we gathered in the evening around the fire, sharing mutual interest and taking recommendations on good places to eat. The parking is gated which helped us feel secure. We learned bed the design of the B&B and our favorite place was the deck o er looking the Monteverde mountains. We had no problems with getting our Monteverde Extremo shuttle pickup and return, a big reason we selected this location. Once we saw the road conditions up that mountain we were very glad of our choice. Upon returning midday following our extreme adventures, we went to the kitchen, heated in the microwave our pizza from the previous night, and enjoyed our relaxed lunch in the deck with a view. I am so glad we selected Camino Verde!"

"This hotel was great for our stay in Monteverde. It was a bit removed from the middle of town but close enough. Our tours were only 10-20 mins drive away. Staff were incredibly helpful and even improvised breakfast for a day we had a very early start. "

If you are looking for a unique and romantic experience, among the trees, sunsets, and unbelievable wildlife, there is no better experience or place to be. Roads getting to this paradise in the sky are generally good but as anywhere in Costa Rica, off the National highways can have crater-like potholes, but just part of the beauty and the charm of Costa Rica. This place is magnificent. "

"The views from the higher rise building are exceptional especially river view from the 5th floor. We loved breakfast and pool time here - stayed two nights and didn’t leave the resort! Some party noises on the Sat night and into the wee hours but expected given we are on holiday! "
